SUMMARY:A day in the life of an optometry student - Deakin University
DESCRIPTION:‘A day in the life of an optometry student’ is an opportunity for Year 11 students living in the South West and Grampians/Wimmera regions with an interest in optometry to experience what it is like to study at Deakin. Offered twice\, the day will include hands-on practical activities as well as the chance to learn more about pathways\, entry requirements and career options. \nAcademics and current students will be available to answer all your questions. \nPlease email us for more information\, expression of interest and participant consent forms. \nAn expression of interest (EOI) is required to be considered for the program. Limited places available. Please note that submitting an EOI does not guarantee a place in the program. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent details\n\nLocation: Deakin University Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus \nEvent dates: 27 August 2025 (expressions of interest due 25 July) \nTime: On campus from 10am to 3pm \nTravel: Deakin is arranging shuttle buses from select locations in the South West and Grampians Regions.
