Parent/Caregivers Supporting University Students (Access Monash) – ONLINE EVENT

We hear a lot about university being stressful and a big change, but how can we support students going through this? What can we do to ease this transition? What support services can we rely on and what support do universities offer? Hear from current Monash University students about their experiences moving from high school to University, what supports they found helpful, and how this transition can be aided by support people. What is Access Monash?

Access Monash enhances opportunities for secondary students from low Socio-Economic Status (SES) backgrounds and regional or remote locations, helping them improve their educational outcomes and transform their lives.

We achieve this through our Access Monash mentoring program and School Access Monash activities. In addition to this, we run a series of online seminars led by experienced Access Monash mentors, giving students valuable first-hand insights into the university, along with knowledge to assist schools students in their decision-making for the future.
